What are Bots?

A bot is an AI agent that is made publicly accessible through a chat interface. Unlike internal agents that are only available to team members, bots can:

  • Be embedded on websites
  • Be used by external visitors
  • Be available 24/7
  • Process inquiries automatically

How do Bots work?

Bots are based on the same AI agents you use internally:

  • Knowledge Access – Bots access your data sources (documents, URLs, databases)
  • Guidelines – Define how the bot responds and behaves
  • Tools – Bots can take action (e.g., send emails, retrieve data)
  • Customizability – Design, texts, and behavior are configured in the Bot Designer

From Agent to Bot

Any AI agent on the Evoya platform can be embedded as a bot:

  1. Create AI Agent – Configure the agent with data sources, guidelines, and tools
  2. Set Access to Public – Make the agent accessible to external users
  3. Use Bot Designer – Customize the design and behavior of the chat
  4. Generate Embed Code – Embed the bot on your website
