Tools
Tools extend the capabilities of your chat agents and enable them to perform specific actions – such as sending emails, generating images, making API requests, or publishing blog posts.
Where tools are defined
The definitions, configuration, and activation of tools can be found in the Agents section under Tools. It describes in detail:
- which tool types are available (API, Image Generator, Email, ClickUp, WordPress)
- how to create and configure a tool
- how to assign a tool to a chat agent and activate it
Tools in the chat
As soon as a tool is activated for an agent, the agent can use it independently in the chat. You do not need to perform any additional steps in the chat for this – the agent accesses the available tools as needed to complete your request.
In the platform
The tools overview in the platform shows all created tools. From there you can open and edit an existing tool or create a new one via the button in the top right.
