Files from Chats and Agents
The file storage saves not only manually uploaded files, but also content created during work with agents.
What gets generated
This includes for example:
- images
- text files
- Word documents
- presentations
- other generated files
Where are these files saved?
| Context | Storage location |
|---|---|
| Normal chat session (without project) | Private area |
| Chat session with a selected project | Project folder |
| Working within a project | Project folder |
Interaction Between You, Agents, and Projects
You and agents work together with the file storage – but not in all areas in the same way.
What you can do:
- Manage files and folders manually in the file storage
- Move files into projects or upload them there directly
- View and organise generated files from chats in the private area
What agents can do:
- Generate and save files from chat sessions
- Within projects: create, edit, and store files in the project context
Key difference
The general file storage serves as a place for storage and organisation. The actual working context for agents lies within the Projects. Agents do not work directly in the private area of the file storage.
