Projects – Guide
Creating a Project
A project can be created via the Projects section in the side menu.
When creating a project, you define the following:
- Project name – required
- Description – optional
- Access type – private or team
Important: Access type cannot be changed later
The access type can only be set when the project is created. It cannot be changed afterwards.
If you later need to move or share content in a different context, files and folders can be moved manually in the file storage.
Access Types
- Private – The project is only visible to you.
- Team – The project is accessible to authorised team members.
Working in a Project
Within a project you can:
- select an agent
- define agent instructions
- manage files and folders
- start new chat sessions
- continue existing chat sessions
A project is the central workspace for a specific topic. You can upload, organise, and edit files there. At the same time, agents can work with files in this project context – for example, creating content, editing files, or saving new files within the project.
Agent Instructions in a Project
You can store custom agent instructions for each project. This allows you to define how an agent should behave within the project and what it should pay particular attention to.
This is especially useful when an agent repeatedly works in a specific subject area with the same files, rules, or objectives.
Note
Project-level agent instructions complement the agent's general configuration and enable topic-specific control of its behaviour.
Files in a Project
Every project is linked to its own area within the file storage. Inside this project folder you can:
- create folders
- upload files
- organise files
- move files
- delete files
Agents can also create or edit files within the project and save new content directly in the project folder.
Uploading Files
Files can be uploaded manually via drag & drop or through the upload function in the project folder.
Supported File Formats
The platform supports common file formats, including:
- Microsoft file formats (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Text files
- Markdown files
Note
Markdown files can also be edited directly in the Creator.
Chats in a Project
All chat sessions conducted within a project are assigned to that project and can be viewed and continued there at any time.
Linking a Chat to a Project
A chat can be assigned to a project in two ways:
- Directly from within the project – You start a new chat session inside the project.
- Retrospectively in an existing chat session – You select a project in a running chat session. This assigns that session to the project.
Note
Once a project is selected in a running chat session, all files generated from that point on will be saved in the corresponding project folder.
